Adelaide Hills SA
Adelaide Hills, located 15 km s-e of Adelaide, are a delightful mix of vineyards, bushland, farms, beautiful scenery and charming villages. They are part of the Mount Lofty Ranges and Mt Lofty Lookout (727 m) affords spectacular views while the Belair NP (the state’s oldest) offers forest and flowering landscapes as well as an historic governor’s residence (1859). Early German settlements were established in Hahndorf and Lobethal and today Mount Barker is the area’s largest town.
