Agnes Water is a popular Gladstone region seaside resort 483 km north of Brisbane. It is noted as Queensland’s most northerly surfing beach and hosts the 1770 Longboard Classic surfing competition each March. Agnes Water has an interesting historic museum including some documents of Captain Cook’s voyage and is surrounded by Eurimbula NP and Deepwater NP (4WD only) featuring rainforests, heathlands, wildlife, birdlife, swimming and fishing.
