Aldinga Beach SA 5173 Pop 6 000)
Aldinga Beach is a popular Fleurieu Peninsula coastal resort town just 46 km south of Adelaide. It is bounded by the South Mount Lofty Ranges (east) and the beautiful Gulf St Vincent (west) with some of SA’s best diving spots such as Aldinga Drop Off, an underwater cliff. The settlement was already thriving by 1860s as a busy port for the local farming communities and today its proximity to the capital, is seeing Aldinga also develop into a commuter satellite suburb.
