Australind is a picturesque SW corner town on Leschenault Estuary 164 km south of Perth. It was named by its founders blending both ‘Australia’ and ‘India’ to help bolster horse trading between the two countries. Today Australind is known for its excellent water sports & recreational activities covering an area of about 45 sq km with 20 parks and bustling Bunbury just 12 sw. Spring Fair (Nov).
