Beerwah is a popular Sunshine Coast hinterland town located 74 km north of Brisbane. It sits at the foot of Mount Beerwah, a volcanic cone of the Glass House Mountain Range and is surrounded by the Beerwah State Forest and Glass House Mountains NP. Beerwah is also famously the home of Steve Irwin’s wildlife park - Australia Zoo. The surrounding district grows citrus fruit, macadamias and tobacco. Wild Horse Mountain offers excellent regional views and the bustling Sunshine Coast is close by. Markets 1st Sat each month.
