Belmont is an inner city suburb of Geelong 4 km south of the CBD. First settled in 1836, it covers over 9 sq km. ‘Beautiful Hill’ is bounded by the Barwon River and Waurn Ponds Creek and is a mainly residential suburb with some light industry.
