Blackall is an attractive Outback township on the Landsborough Hwy 963 km n-w of Brisbane. A charming, remote settlement that was home to legendary sheep-shearer, Jackie Howe and surrounded by thriving sheep & cattle industries. Pastoralists settled in 1860s and for a time, Blackall was the region’s main town. Idalia NP is known for its wallaby habitat, panoramic Emmet Pocket Lookout & Bullock Gorge walking trail.
