Boyup Brook is a peaceful SW corner service town located 304 km south of Perth. Sitting on the pretty BlackwoodRiver, the township is surrounded by rich farming (stock and grains) country, grass trees (formerly blackboys) and has magnificent wildflower displays in spring. Europeans settled the area from 1850s with the township established in 1900 followed by the railway (1909). Country Music Festival (Feb), Autumn Art Affair (May), Blackwood Marathon (Oct).
