Brisbane’s islands sit in Moreton Bay to the east of the city. There are over 350 islands in this area with the main ones, North Stradbroke, Bribie and Moreton also being important holiday destinations offering excellent water sports, bushwalking and accommodation. Many are protected by national parks ensuring their wilderness areas and pristine conditions remain.
