Burleigh Heads offers the visitor a truly unspoilt vista of the coastline. Sitting halfway along the Gold Coast, it is located 90 km south east of Brisbane. The headland is protected by a national park as is the area around Tallebudgera Creek, popular for boating and kayaking with two boat ramps. Burleigh Head NP comprises 27 ha of rainforest and heathlands and many native fauna species. A 2.8 km circuit track leads to Turngum Lookout for superb coastal views.
