Burra is a fascinating Clare Valley historic copper town located 154 km north of Adelaide. Following copper discoveries (1845), individual settlements sprang up reflecting the miners’ homelands (Aberdeen - Scottish, Llychwr - Welsh, Hampton - English, Redruth - Cornish).
