Cape Borda Lighthouse

Cape Borda SA 5223 

Cape Borda Lighthouse is located on Kangaroo Island’s west coast 88 km west of Kingscote and 252 km s-w of Adelaide. Built in 1858, it is SA’s only square stone lighthouse and the 3^rd oldest remaining in the state. It was automated in 1989 but is one of only three Australian lighthouses that still retain a Deville lantern room.
