Cape Tribulation is located in Queensland's Tropical North 1 817 km n-w of Brisbane. This spot is aptly named as it is where Capt Cook ran aground on the Great Barrier Reef in 1770. Today it is part of the magnificent 16 965 ha Cape Tribulation NP encompassing rugged mountain ranges, dense rainforests, beautiful beaches and an enormous flora variety.
