Carnamah is a Coral Coast region service centre situated 306 km north of Perth. First settled in 1860s, despite fertile soils and good rainfalls, low population numbers were only bolstered following the War Service Farming Schemes after both world wars. Today Carnamah is a typical wheatbelt town surrounded by farming lands and spectacular wildflower displays in spring. Wimbeldon of the Wheatbelt (Mar), Rodeo, Agricultural Show & Ute Parade (Sept).
