Coolangatta is the Gold Coast’s southernmost and earliest holiday destination. Its twin town, Tweed Heads sits over the border in NSW and Coolangatta also has a major airport. It has resisted great modernization over the years and has great family appeal. It is located 102 km south east of Brisbane.
