Edenhope is a pleasant Grampians region service town 394 km n-w of Melbourne. Located on the Wimmera Hwy just 30 km from the SA border, it serves as the Wimmera’s administrative & business centre. Originally settled in 1860s, the area is supported by wool & grazing industries. Edenhope sits adjacent to LakeWallace, a waterbird haven with other lakes in the area - Charlegrark & Bringalbert - popular for fishing & waterskiing. Henley-on-Lake Wallace Regatta (Feb), Gourmet Food Day (Mar), Races (Mar).
