Gisborne - by Andrew Francis
Gisborne Vic 3437
Gisborne is a pretty Macedon Ranges township and Melbourne commuter suburb located just 59 km n-w of the capital. The Woiwurung Aborigines first inhabited the area followed by European pastoralists in 1830s. Gisborne also benefited from the nearby goldrushes as a stopover point and a number of its historic buildings remain.
