Great Keppel Island Qld 4700

Great Keppel Island is a tropical Southern Barrier Reef Island. Situated almost 700 km north of Brisbane and 48 km north of Rockhampton, it covers 1 454 ha edged by 17 beaches. Access is by plane from Rockhampton or launch from Yeppoon. Well preserved middens are found on Long Beach.
