Gulargambone is a picturesque North West township 528 km n-w of Sydney. Sitting on the Castlereagh River, it services the surrounding farming and grazing district. Original inhabitants were the Wiradjuri Aborigines and white squatter settlement began in 1840s. Gulargambone is halfway between Coonamble (north) & Gilgandra (south) on the Castlereagh Hwy.
