Jennings NSW 2372
Jennings is a small North West village on the Qld border 703 km north of Sydney. It sits on the New England Hwy with its twin town, Wallangarra, in Qld separated by the railway station. Jennings was home to a Australian Army Ammunition Depot during WWII, a former border checkpoint for prohibited agricultural produce and also the rail changeover point as NSW and Qld had different railway gauges.

Nearby:
Bald Rock NP (east) 7 500 ha and home to Australia’s largest granite rock (750 m x 500 m) with spectacular summit views (3 hour return). Giraween NP (7 km north in Qld) Bald Rock’s twin park with huge boulders, granite landscape and wetlands.
