Lake King WA 6356 (Pop 40)

Lake King is a small Outback-fringe township located 468 km s-e of Perth. Established in 1928 and surrounded by rich sheep and wheat farms, it is an important stopping point for visitors heading east to Norseman via Frank Hann NP.

Lake King & Causeway (5 km west) interesting 10 km road across salt lake amidst seasonal wildflowers and native scrub. Mt Madden (25 km s-e) lookout and picnic spot. Frank Hann NP (32 km east) heath flora on inland sand plain.
