Lancelin is a pretty fishing town and holiday destination located 127 km north of Perth.  Established in 1950, it features a natural breakwater between Lancelin Island and Edward Island ensuring safe boating and swimming. Other popular water pursuits include windsurfing (Lancelin Ocean Classic held here each Jan), kitesurfing and snorkeling. For scuba divers there is a 17^th century shipwreck site nearby and South Point is a limestone reef with many caves and arches.  4WD enthusiasts will enjoy the rugged 45 km track leading north to Nambung NP.
