Lismore is an historic Hamilton Hwy township 168 km west of Melbourne. Settled in 1850s, it is home to Victoria’s oldest private chapel (1867). Lismore lies halfway between Geelong and Warrnambool (Great Ocean Rd) and is close to the vast ColacLakes system comprising over 50 lakes. The largest, Lake Corangamite, is three times saltier than the sea.
