Milparinka NSW 2880

Milparinka is a tiny former gold mining settlement 1 233 km n-w of Sydney. Located on the Silver City Hwy in Outback Corner Country, this virtual ghost town comprises a store and several historic buildings dating back to 1880s. Sturt NP (40 km north) features 310 000 ha of woodlands, wetlands, sand dunes, diverse fauna/reptiles/birds, camping and 4WD treks. Jolly Swagman Festival (Easter).
