Mirboo North is a small Gippsland service centre 154 km s-e of Melbourne. It sits on the Strzelecki Hwy and was first settled in 1880s with a thriving timber industry. Today, this pretty community is surrounded by dairy, potato & grain farms. Of interest nearby is the Lyrebird Forest Reserve, Dickies Hill Lookout, Mt Worth State Park and in town, a brewery.
