Murtoa is an important Grampians region wheat town 296 km n-w of Melbourne. It sits on the Wimmera Hwy on Lake Marma with busy Horsham just 30 km away. Murtoa was established in 1870s and a number of interesting historic buildings remain. Big Weekend (Oct).
