North West Island Qld

North West Island is the Great Barrier Reef’s 2^nd largest coral cay. It became part of the Capricornia Cays NP in 1994 and following a history of guano mining and turtle soup canneries, it is today a major seabird and turtle nesting ground. Located 75 km n-e of Gladstone from which access is by charter boat.
