Orpheus Island Qld 4850

Orpheus Island is a small and craggy volcanic Tropical North island of 1 300 ha. Located 20 km east of Ingham and 80 km north-east of Townsville, it is mostly national park apart from a resort and the James Cook University Marine Research Station. Access by seaplane from Cairns (1 hour) or Townsville (30 mins).
