Penneshaw is a small scenic town on Dudley Peninsula on Kangaroo Island’s n-e coast 127 km s-w of Adelaide. This is the island’s main vehicular ferry port with regular services from Cape Jervis on the mainland. Penneshaw also features a National Trust Maritime and Folk Museum and nightly tours to view the fairy penguins make their ashore at Hog Bay Beach.
