Comments[0] Port Victoria

Port Victoria SA 5573 (Pop 350)

Port Victoria is located on Yorke Peninsula’s west coast 190 km n-w of Adelaide. This tiny historic settlement was named after an early schooner surveying the coast in 1830s and it soon became an important windjammer port transporting wheat to Europe which continued until 1949. Now known as the ‘last of the windjammer ports’, Port Victoria has evolved into a quiet and peaceful holiday settlement away from any hustle and bustle.
