Robina is the Gold Coast’s third largest suburb encompassing an area of about 18 sq km. It is situated 83 km s-e of Brisbane via the Pacific Hwy and is home to almost 40 parks which cover over 10% of its total area. Robina has experienced tremendous growth since its inception in 1980s when it was transformed from scrubland by developer Dr Robin Loh. Bond University is located here and the coast is just 8 km west. Robina is well serviced by trains and buses, has numerous educational facilities and a public hospital. Vast Robina Town Centre is one of Australia’s most innovative shopping precincts. The surrounding region offers miles of pristine beaches and Brisbane islands (east), a variety of fun-filled theme parks (north) and stunning national parks (Springbrook, Lamington) and Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary (south).
