The South Eastern Suburbs of Sydney cover a relatively small area from 6 km s-e of the CBD taking in Kensington, Randwick, Coogee, Maroubra, Port Botany and La Perouse. Many are either coastal or (Botany) bayside suburbs and are a mix of middle and working class residential/commercial/industrial.  Substantial Greek, Indonesian and Chinese communities have been established with large numbers of students attending NSW University at Kensington. The district has good regular bus services.
