South Western Suburbs - Sydney NSW
Sydney South Western Suburbs form a large sprawling region covering a number of local government shires (Canterbury, Bankstown, Liverpool, Campbelltown, Camden). Beginning 12 km from the CBD and spanning 55 km to Camden, this is a mixed area of lower-middle class residential, commercial, industrial and rural sectors. Innumerable new housing estates and suburbs have been established in recent years to help solve the city’s chronic housing shortages. Many residents make the daily commute into the city centre but enjoy the quieter lifestyle of living on Sydney’s fringes.
