Tambo Qld 4478 (Pop 350) 

Tambo is a quiet Outback service town on the Landsborough Hwy 862 km n-w of Brisbane. Established in 1860s, it is Central Western Queensland’s oldest town and is evidenced by its heritage buildings and old fashioned hospitality. Carnarvon  NP (Salvator Rose section) is 130 km east featuring many natural attractions. Australia Day Rodeo (Jan), Stock Show (Apr), Tambo Races (Apr/May).
