Tarrawarra Vic 3775
Tarrawarra is a small Yarra Valley region rural community 60 km n-e of Melbourne. It sits half way between Healesville and Yarra Glen, and its Aboriginal name relates to the slow flow of the nearby Yarra River. Tarrawarra, first known as View Hill estate, was established in 1893 and since 1950s has been home to a strict order of Trappist Monks (Tarrawarra Abbey) and also an excellent winery.
