The Gardens NT 0820 (Pop about 600)

The Gardens is a pretty inner Darwin suburb on Fannie Bay just 3 km north of the CBD. Deriving its name from the Botanic Gardens that were established here in 1878, it was called Palmerston Gardens until 1984 when it was renamed to avoid confusion with the suburb of Palmerston.
