Toogoolawah is a South East Queensland township on Cressbrook Creek 118 km n-w of Brisbane. Only settled from 1904, the town’s Aboriginal name means ‘crescent shaped tree’. Toogoolawah services the surrounding agricultural district and is also a popular gliding and sky-diving centre. The pretty lakes, Wivenhoe and Somerset are both nearby providing excellent fishing, boating and swimming. Toogoolawah is ideally situated just an hour’s drive from Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.
