Ayers Rock - Uluru from Yulara

Yulara is an extensive Red Centre tourist resort located 18 km from the base of Uluru and 1 930 km south of Darwin. Yulara which means ‘crying’ was opened in 1984 after 104 sq km (beyond the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park’s boundary) were reserved specifically for this purpose. It is situated just outside the national park.
