Urana NSW 2645 (Pop 1 350)

Urana is a pretty Riverina township 567 km n-w of Sydney. It acts as a rural service centre for the surrounding wheat and sheep properties and is picturesquely located between Lake Urana Nature Reserve (west) and Lake Uranagang (east). Urana is home to an historic courthouse (1890s) and the popular Urana Dam Aquatic and Recreation Centre (5 km west).
