Walpole is a picturesque South Western region town entirely surrounded by a national park. Located 418 km south of Perth and sitting on Nornalup Inlet, Walpole was established in 1930 and is the only place in this region where the forest meets the ocean. Easter markets (Apr), Orchid Display (Sept).

Mount Frankland NP (29 km north) 31 000 ha haven for birdwatchers with over 50 species. Peaceful Bay (35 km east) pretty fishing village with swimming beach.
