Wedderburn is a quiet Victorian Goldfields rural service town located 221 km n-w of Melbourne. Part of the ‘Golden Triangle’, it was once a very busy and rich goldmining settlement with some gold still being unearthed today. Wedderburn was established in 1850s when the gold was first discovered and now agricultural and pastoral industries support the local economy. Gold Festival (Mar), Wool Expo (Aug).
