Wentworth is a pretty Outback/Murray region service township located 1 040 km west of Sydney on the Victorian border. Picturesquely sitting at the junction of the Murray and Darling rivers, this once thriving river port is today a quiet, peaceful holiday centre. Following on the heels of early explorers in 1830s, drovers began arriving a decade later and Wentworth was soon bustling with commercial river trade.
