Yanchep is one of WA’s most rapidly growing coastal destinations located just 58 km north of Perth. The area boasts spectacular beaches, excellent sporting facilities and a range of natural attractions. Yanchep is an Aboriginal word meaning bulrushes which are a feature of the area.

Yanchep NP (5 km east) 2 842 ha park protecting tuart and jarrah forests, banksia woodlands, lakes (Loch McNess and Yanchep Lakes) and a variety of wildlife (possums, tortoises, kangaroos). Highlights of the park include magnificent underground limestone caves (Yonderup and Crystal), Gloucester Lodge Museum, historic Yanchep Inn, Aboriginal dance and music performances and  beautiful bush trails. Guilderton (37 km north) Moore River township with swimming, canoeing and good fishing.
